This month saw the launch of the Material Driven Innovation Award (MDIA), a new competition organized by design services company Loftwork. Aimed at highlighting recent advances in industrial materials, the competition celebrated nine sustainable craftspeople and manufacturers whose recycled, minimum-waste and biodegradable products “inspire well-being and better living.”
