Decorations, treats and very British crockery

The Queen's Platinum Jubilee falls in June this year, marking 60 years of service to our country. As such, we get an extra day to celebrate on June 2, giving us a four-day weekend overall to mark the occasion.

Naturally, then, we're gearing up to host a big garden party – and John Lewis has put together a suitable product edit to help the big day go with a bang. All aspects of your party are covered and, of course, are suitably British in theme.

There's a selection of plates, tablecloths, and confetti to decorate your garden furniture set, along with some balloons and bunting to make your patio pretty. A picnic hamper gives you space to stash your sandwiches and drinks and there are plenty of nibbles and sweet treats to accompany all your cooking.

We've put the collection below, or you can shop on the John Lewis website.

From British potter Emma Bridgewater, this limited edition plate is perfect for displaying all your sandwiches and sausage rolls.

And this one's just right for your cakes!

This will cover up tired old garden tables and make them suitably festive.

A Jubilee is a special occasion, so treat yourself and your family to a posh box of chocolates to mark the big day. This Union Jack-themed box is a suitably festive option.

If you've planned a Jubilee weekend picnic, this roomy wicker basket has plenty of space for all your supplies.

Lots of sweet treats here to tuck into during your big Jubilee garden party once the sandwiches are eaten – blackcurrant jam for your scones, some clotted cream shortbread, sweet and salty fudge, chocolatey marshmallows and more.

Sprinkle these over your tablecloth for a bit of extra British flair.

Hang these around your garden fence or even the front of your property to bring some cheer to your street over the long weekend.

Well, this is fun – this very British tin of jelly beans will keep you going for a good while when you need a quick sugar hit.

We always love an Emma Bridgewater mug and this one is a worthy addition to any collector's haul.

A party isn't a party without balloons! These, in red, blue and white, have a suitably regal message for us all.

If you're looking for a show stopping centrepiece for your big spread, a Bundt cake makes a worthy contender.

And here's another Emma Bridgewater mug, featuring the Royal crest and those special dates.
