I’m all about comfortable sandals in the warmer weather. I don’t want to wear a pair of shoes if it gives me blisters, minor scrapes or makes my feet hurt, no matter how stylish. But recently, I tried on a pair of the FREEDOM MOSES slides, and they’re the best of both worlds: cute and comfy. I’m wearing them everywhere for end-of-summer activities, and I plan to pack them for all my vacations to the beach this winter.

One look at these sandals, and you’ll probably compare them to Birkenstocks. However, they’re less expensive, a little more durable and come in many more colors and prints. I got a pair in the neutral camel color, as well as the cobra sands print.

FREEDOM MOSES sandals are for women, men and kids. Made with a soft, flexible PVC, they’re durable, washable and waterproof. The brand also lightly injects the bottoms with air and shapes each footbed to better support your foot, so that’s what makes them comfortable.

Another fun tidbit: The sandals are all lightly scented with milk and honey. You might not care that your shoes are scented, but it’s better than smelling like plastic, right?

The brand’s mission is to “promote a chill lifestyle while not harming Mama Earth. We believe in our products and care about the people that produce them.” The PETA-approved company prides itself on being vegan and cruelty-free, so no animals are a part of the process. Plus, the company guarantees that the factories it works with offer consistent fair wages and safe working conditions for workers.

Personally, I wear my sandals with jeans, leggings, bike shorts and pretty much any casual outfit. I recently got a new puppy, and I wear them to take him outside nearly eight times a day. In addition to the puppy getting a few pats, I constantly get compliments on my sandals from my neighbors. I recently mentioned my love for the shoes to my virtual coworkers, and a few of them shared how much they love their own FREEDOM MOSES sandals. Apparently, I’ve been a little behind in discovering the brand — but I’m glad I finally did.

If you’re like me and also a little behind, this is a PSA: Get yourself a pair of FREEDOM MOSES sandals if you love comfort. They range from $45 – $50 per pair, but right now, there are a lot of styles on sale for only $35. And you’re going to want more than one pair.

President Joe Biden challenged Democratic voters on Friday that if they elect at least two more senators in November elections, it would open the possibility of Democrats removing the filibuster and restoring federal abortion rights for women. At a Democratic National Committee rally, Biden suggested the two extra Democrats would allow the Democratic-controlled Senate to remove a legislative roadblock known as the filibuster that requires a 60-vote majority to overcome.
