The new Tucson comes with a waiting period of about 8 - 10 months. Hyundai's target is to sell 5,000 units per year of the new model in India.

With a gradual change in income levels of consumers, a decline in the average age of high priced vehicle owners, and an increased focus on safety, automakers in India are testing several technology trends in the high-end products of their portfolios to attract their young consumers. Customers can book the model at Hyundai Signature outlets across India for INR 50,000 or through the company website.
